The CEO Cube executive desks have an asymmetrical structure with a supporting frame in tubular metal and crossbars in metal sheet, equipped with dedicated channels for cable routing and electrification systems. The Desk model has an asymmetrical configuration: one side of the desk is supported by a cube cabinet, the other by a leg. The Easy Desk model has a symmetrical configuration: the desk is supported by two legs.

 

Both models feature tops and legs made with double paneling and beveled edges, upholstered on the outer side in Pelle Frau® or veneered in Canaletto walnut. The under-desk panels are made of fiberboard and finished in textured black lacquer.

 

In the Desk version, the cube supporting one side of the desk is equipped with a system that allows it to rotate on itself. Fitted with two accessorized drawers and a locking filing drawer, it also includes an open compartment on the outer side, divided by a grid of polished aluminum shelves and upholstered in Pelle Frau®. Both versions are optionally available with a modesty panel in aluminum fully upholstered in Pelle Frau®, coordinated with the central panel.

Concept and Design

The pure form, the blend of materials, the solidity of a technically-advanced structure, the soul of Poltrona Frau. Lella and Massimo Vignelli design micro architectures rather than straightforward items of furniture to deftly divide and populate the spaces of the most prestigious workplaces.
The C.E.O. Cube series includes meeting tables, executive desks and storage units. Simple geometries that help showcase the various materials, from fine Pelle Frau® leather to wood and aluminium alloys.

Lella and Massimo Vignelli

Lella Vignelli was born in Udine and graduated in architecture in Venice. Massimo Vignelli was born in Milan in 1931 and studied architecture in Milan and Venice. Their work includes graphic design, corporate image work for industry, signs and industrial design; they design furniture, interiors and exhibition installations. Originally based in Milan and since 1965 in New York, the studio works with some of the most important american and European companies and institutions.
